Better SA record at 32nd sale

At Konsortium-Merino's 32nd production sale this ram was sold for the highest price of R80 000. Johan and Roelof Theron, Mikneiah Boerdery, Murraysburg and Johan Moolman, Dunedin, Beaufort-Wes, paid the top price.

All 353 rams were sold at an average price of R8 418. This betters Konsortium-Merino’s current SA record for a Merino ram sale to R2 971 400. The 554 ewes went for an average of 2 346 a piece, with a highest price of R2 600 per ewe for two tooth branded ewes. Astra Deals, Prieska, bought them. GWK did the sale.
