At Konsortium-Merino's sixth production sale the top price of R18 000 was paid for a merit ram by Lourens van Heerden of the farm Bella Vista, Tarkastad. All 131 rams were sold at an average price of R4 313.53 each. The second highest price was R17 500 paid by Johan Froehlich from Cradock, Tommy and Piet Roux from Hofmeyr and Matt Philps from Cradock. The 365 ewes on offer fetched an average price of R610.82 each.
