Konsortium-Merino breeders perform well at veld shows in the Karoo. Dombietersfontein-Merino′s has been awarded the BBreeder with the highest points at the Victoria-West show, eight times during the past nine years. The year that they didn't win, they were the runners up. On four of these occasions, Victoria-Merino′s was runner-up on points.
Eleven times during the past 13 years, Konsortium-rams have snatched the prize for the Best ram in the Victoria-West district . Since the introduction of the Best ewe in the district in 1998, Konsortium have won it five times.
