Popular Tradition

Popular Tradition

A very popular Konsortium-Merino tradition, which buyers find very beneficial, has evolved over the past few sales. On the day prior to every sale, Phil van der Merwe, stud advisor, evaluates every ram′s wool and conformation traits. He discusses the attributes and categorizes the Merino′s as stud, flock or selective rams.

This tradition assists prospective buyers with their choices and adds value to the Konsortium-product. This traditional viewing commences at 16:00 on the Wednesday before every production sale. Konsortium invites those interested to attend Phil′s discussion, enjoy something to eat and drink, and spend time with the breeders. Those who need accommodation can phone Gawie at 082 321 3233, or 082 4477 932.
