Highveld sale
The first Konsortium-Merino ram sale to be held in the Highveld will take place on 4th March 2010 at 11:00 on the farm of Johan Hancke – Palmietfontein, in the Bethal district.
Fifty rams were delivered to the farm in September 2009. “They adapted remarkably well,” says Braam Coetzee, KM managing director. The rams were reared on the veld. Initially they were given a lick which ceased when the area had good rain.
The rams were classed on 21st January and 42 of them will be auctioned individually, on a silent auction, in accordance with the Helmsman method.

Offering: 42 pure bred Konsortium veldrams, performance tested.
Viewing: From 08:30 on the day of the sale.
