SA champion attains goldCreated on: 7 January 2006 In 2005 the Konsortium-Merino ram, Windsor, SA Grand Champion at the 2004 National Show for Measured Production, added a gold merit award to his silver merit. This ram really excelled in the Marlow Agricultural College's progeny test. Charl Naude was the project manager.
Due to this performance, Windsor moved into the 16th place on the Bayer Sire ranking list in December 2005. Five of his progeny, for sale on the 16th February 2006, have expected BLUP values with regards to their REV, of R18.40+. This places them in the TOP 10% in the country. |
