On the day prior to every sale, Phil van der Merwe, stud advisor, evaluates every ram′s wool and conformation traits. He discusses the attributes and categorizes the Merino′s as stud, flock or selective rams. This tradition assists prospective buyers with their choices and adds value to the Konsortium-product. This traditional viewing commences at 16:00 on the Wednesday before every production sale.
