Although the Konsortium-Merino produces less wool, its large carcass, low micron and good staple length won it the best ram and ewe (wool and meat income R/c) at the show. Konsortium-breeder, John Luscombe′s group of 6 rams and 6 ewes also gained the most points for wool and conformation in the hand-eye category. Therefore, Konsortium-Merino′s look good whilst still putting the rands and cents into your pocket. |
